The First Photograph of the Sun (1845)

This photograph, taken in 1845, is believed to be the first ever taken of the sun. It was captured by the French astronomer, Louis Fizeau, using a daguerreotype camera and a telescope. The photograph shows the sun as a bright disc surrounded by a h
