Once again it is not a surprise to find Google topping the list for the most popular sites of 2010. It is followed by Zuckerberg most famous social media site Facebook (even the Social Network movie about the site’s beginning was released this year) and then in third position the online video sharing phenomenon YouTube (also own by Google). Yahoo, who was once a close second, is now in fourth position, followed by the less known search engine from Microsoft, Windows live. Other top 10 positions on the list were made by Baidu, said to be the Chinese Google, followed by Blogger which is another Google products, for blogging. Then we have the now very famous online encyclopaedia Wikipedia followed by QQ which is another Chinese based portal popular with working women and students. Finally the micro blogging platform Twitter is getting bigger and better, making it to the top 10 position this year.
